Postures that I love and postures that I don’t…what is this about?

When I practice asana I notice the thoughts I have when I am thinking about doing a particular posture.

I hear the thoughts of judgements about how it may be ‘technically’ assessed according to the information I have stored in my mind.

I hear the comparison thoughts with those who have done the postures before me.

I hear the resistance thoughts of my body, my mind; with what I wish to achieve in the posture to get it ‘done’ perfectly.

And…I hear my thoughts of weather I actually want to do the posture…

I have played with doing postures and practices that I don’t like. I have played with doing only those I do.

I have come to understand that when I feel completely neutral about and in a posture, it simply is. Like life really?
